ABOUT US
Founded in 1992, AK Exporters has become a trusted manufacturer and exporter of high-fashioned natural silk and linen clothing and soft furnishings, serving clients across Europe, the United States, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Middle East. The journey began when Mr. Ashok Kumar Saraf, a botanist and nature lover from Bhagalpur — “Silk City” — was captivated by the beauty of handwoven silks created by local artisans. Determined to share this art with the world, he built AK Exporters with a vision to promote natural textiles crafted with integrity and skill. Today, the business is overseen by his son, Mr. Gautam Kumar Saraf, who carries forward this legacy while steering the company toward new markets and opportunities.
Over three decades, the company has evolved into an accredited exporter of sustainable natural textiles, offering silks and linens in plains, dyed finishes, and a variety of weaves and textures, with value additions like printing, embroidery, and custom designs. Our expert artisans and stitching units combine traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, allowing us to deliver finished garments and furnishings of international standards. Working directly with importers, wholesalers, and buying agents, we provide both our own collections and fully customisable developments.
At the heart of AK Exporters lies a responsibility to the artisans who make our work possible. Looking ahead, we aim to collaborate with global businesses to create parallel production centres in India, ensuring consistent work for artisans while offering partners greater value by sourcing directly from the origin.
AK Exporters is more than a business — it is a story of tradition meeting innovation, where nature, craftsmanship, and sustainability come together to deliver premium textiles trusted worldwide. We are a B2B export company dedicated to building lasting partnerships through quality and trust.
